Post-Natal Care
The post-natal period is a time of enormous physical and emotional change, and as a new mum it can feel difficult to prioritise your own recovery while caring for your baby. However, supporting your body during this stage is essential—because a strong, supported mum is better able to care for her baby and herself.
Post-natal exercise, when introduced at the right time and tailored to your body, plays a key role in rebuilding strength and confidence after pregnancy and birth. A clinical Pilates–based approach provides a safe, controlled environment to restore deep abdominal and pelvic floor function, support the lower back, and progressively rebuild core and upper-body strength before moving into functional based weights exercises. These foundations are essential for the physical demands of motherhood, including feeding, lifting, carrying, and repetitive bending.
Working one-on-one with Liz ensures your program is completely individualised to your post-natal recovery. Your personalised program focuses on rebuilding strength, improving posture, restoring mobility, and gradually enhancing overall fitness and muscle tone—while respecting healing timelines and your unique recovery journey. This supportive, evidence-based approach helps you move safely, confidently, and sustainably as you return to exercise and to life as a new mum.
